Andrew Oikonny is the nephew of Andross. He at one point was a member of Star Fox's rival squadron, Star Wolf. However, after the Lylat Wars, he was kicked out along with Pigma. Before the Aparoid Invasion, he led a rebellion of Venomian forces over Fortuna before being subdued by an Aparoid. During the Anglar Directorate Invasion, he fought for the Anglars in the Battle Crab.

Lylat Wars

Andrew in the Lylat Wars, both in the Wolfen-I and Wolfen-II

Andrew Oikonny was a member of Star Wolf at the time of the Lylat Wars. He was especially adament about defeating Star Fox since Andross, Star Wolf's boss, was his uncle. He joined the team in fighting Star Fox on Fichina, Bolse, and finally on the tunnel into Venom's core. Each time, he and the rest of his team were defeated by Star Fox.

It is shown here that, for an unknown reason, Andrew has a grudge with Slippy Toad. He usually went after Slippy before any other member and made remarks many times about him.

Aparoid Invasion

Oikonny's flagship fully transformed

Shortly prior to the Aparoid Invasion, Oikonny had amassed a fleet of Venomian soliders and ruffians to lead a rebellion against the Cornerian Defense Force over Fortuna. Initially the battle had come to a stalemate before Star Fox came in to aid the Cornerians. They immediately broke through the Venomian lines and made a dash for Oikonny's flagship. He fled to the surface of Fortuna, and Star Fox followed in hot pursuit.

After Star Fox had located the Venomian base and crippled it, Oikonny made a short attempt to flee once again. However, Star Fox pinned him in a canyon. He then unveiled the true power of his flagship, transforming it into a ship reminiscent of the mutated Andross Fox McCloud defeated in the Lylat Wars. He then proceeded to attack Star Fox. His ship proved to be of little match to Fox McCloud, and he crippled the hands Oikonny was using to attack him. After boasting a bit and claiming he was the "true heir to the great emperor Andross," his ship was hit with an unknown beam from the sky, destroying the ship. He was presumed dead. After that, the Aparoid that shot his ship appeared, and Star Fox fought and defeated it.

Anglar Directorate

Andrew during the Anglar Directorate Invasion

Andrew Oikonny again resurfaced during the Anglar Invasion. However, instead of helping the rest of the Lylat System defeat the Anglars, he helped them on Fichina. He piloted the Battle Crab for them. Once Star Fox again defeated him and the Battle Crab was destroyed, he continued to pepper them with boastful comments, however these were generally disregarded by the team.

Other Information

• Andrew was to make an appearence in Star Fox 2, but in an extremely different form. He was initially supposed to be a shrew who fought for Star Wolf and had no relation to Andross.
