Bill Grey is the lead Cornerian pilot of the famous "Husky and Bulldog Unit." Bill Grey has a unique tenacity of getting cocky during dogfights and is an old friend of Fox McCloud back through his years at the Cornerian Flight Academy.

Biography

Pre-Lylat Wars

Bill and Fox met during their training years in the Cornerian Flight Academy. They became friends throughout their training there.

However, this would end up not to last for too long. James McCloud, Fox's father, was sent out with his mercenary team, Team Star Fox, to investigate a situation on Venom. Pigma Dengar betrayed the team, and James McCloud was captured and killed. Fox then left the CFA, parting ways with Bill.

Bill would continue to succeed throughout the CFA. Upon graduation, he was tasked to the Katina Outpost and soon was in command of the Husky and Bulldog Unit.

Lylat Wars

Bill in the Lylat Wars.

The Katina Outpost came under attack by Andross' forces during the Lylat Wars. Since Bill was stationed there, he immediately was tasked with defending the outpost. He was succeeding in holding off the invasion when Team Star Fox appeared. After a reunitation between Fox and Bill, they immediately began working on stopping the invasion together, Team Star Fox and Husky and Bulldog Unit working as one collective unit.

After a short period of time, the Saucerer, the leader of the invasion, showed up in an attempt to destroy the base. Fox succeeded in stopping the Saucerer.

Bill and elements of Husky and Bulldog Unit would help Team Star Fox again in both Sector X and Solar.

Anglar Directorate

Again, Bill and his unit came under attack defending the Katina Outpost. However, Falco and Slippy came to aid him this time, defending the base from an Anglar occupation. He also then mentioned about Krystal serving in the Cornerian Defense Force with him until a mission at Titania.
