Fay Spaniel was a member of the Star Fox Team at the time of the Second Lylat War. She aided the team in combat by flying the second Arwing Interceptor (the other was flown by Miyu). Hers happened to be red. She also wore a distinctive red bow in her hair.

Biography

Second Lylat War (Star Fox 2)

Fay and Miyu were both inducted to the Star Fox Team as new pilots at the time of Andross' second invasion of the Lylat System. When Andross began the invasion, General Pepper once again called on the Star Fox Team to defend Corneria from a direct insurgency. Both she and Miyu were given Arwing Interceptors to use among the team. They then had to stop various direct attacks on Corneria, such as battleships, fighter squadrons, and Interplanetary Ballistic Missiles (shortened to IPBMs). After these and all of Andross' bases were destroyed, the team launched a direct attack on Andross' floating city, Astropolis.

Fay helped the rest of the team find their way through the maze that was the halls of Astropolis and destroy its core. She then helped defeat the disembodied head and hands of Andross. They all escaped in time before Astropolis was destroyed and returned to Corneria triumphant that Andross was finally defeated.
