Katherine Monroe (known more commonly as Katt Monroe) is a friend of Team Star Fox. She helped them out during the Lylat Wars, during the Crisis on Titania, and during the Anglar Invasion. She is a rather cocky pilot, but in a more feminine way, acting a bit as a foil for her closest friend, Falco Lombardi. It is also hinted at that she is Falco's girlfriend, although this is never explicitly stated by either of them.

Bio

The Lylat Wars

Katt was originally not involved in the Lylat Wars. However, Andross' patrols destroyed her ship, which prompted her to steal one of Andross' Invader-class fighters, which she thereonin dubbed Cat's Paw. After that event, she made a point of fighting Andross. Once fighting, she flew solo, fighting Andross' forces away from the Cornerian Army and Team Star Fox's offense on Venom.

Eventually, she met up with the mercenary team on Zoness, where she immediately gave them some help because Falco was a member of the team. She helped them defeat Saru and destroy the Venomian base that was on the planet. She then briefly departed.

She again helped Team Star Fox on Macbeth. While trying to defeat the Mechbeth, she abruptly came in and shot one of the switches for them, helping Fox defeat the machine-train by sending it careening into the Macbeth munitions base.

The final time she helped Team Star Fox is when Great Fox was attacked in Sector Z. She came into the battle before the first missiles came flying at Great Fox. She stayed by the missiles, using the Cat's Paw as a disguise, and shot several of them down for Star Fox. Once the missiles were destroyed, she left Star Fox to fight on their own, saying that Falco "owed [her] one" and wishing them good luck.

2002 Star Fox Comic: "Farewell Beloved Falco"

In the 2002 Star Fox Adventures Comic, "Farwell Beloved Falco", Katt had reconnected with her space gang, known as the Hot Rodders, durring the time of the Crisis on Titania. They had been stealing information from a Cornerian outpost on Titania, and found out the local officer, Captain Shears, had been running experiments in hopes of reviving Andross. As she contacted Team Star Fox for help, the Hot Rodder's ship came under attack from controlled Goras in the area. The connection was lost, and Falco immediately flew to Titania to help her. There he became seperated from Star Fox as they went to help Shears with a proported "Venomian Uprising," which was a ploy to have them destroy the Hot Rodders.

After a skirmish between Fox and Falco and Slippy going missing during a Landmaster run, Star Fox came in contact with the Hot Rodders, who told them their side of the story. Immediately, they invaded the base. Katt stayed outside to help the Hot Rodders combat the Gora that was used to fight them. As Fox located Slippy and found Andross being revived, Katt had a realization about her need for Falco and destroyed the Gora while the rest of the Hot Rodders escaped. Eventually Shears was killed and Andross was once again destroyed. Star Fox, The Hot Rodders, and Falco all went their seperate ways.

The Angular Directorate

Katt once again came to help Star Fox during the invasion of the Anglars, a race of fish people from the toxic Venom seas. She helped them attack the Anglars during their attacks in the Asteroid Field and Sector X. Where exactly she ends up is debatable, since the canon ending of Star Fox: Command is not known.
