Krystal's Staff is her main battalion weapon used during the Saurian Incident. It is capable of both an effective melee weapon, as well as a tool to get around the Saurian environment.

Krystal lost her staff en route to Krazoa Palace when she was under attack by General Scales's Galleon. Fox McCloud retrieved her staff, which dropped into ThornTail Hollow. He made good use out of her staff as he was not permitted to procure any weapons of his own. The staff permits the user to use its abilities only for those who use it for good intentions. Krystal's staff is very adaptive, using raw abundant sources like gems from magic plants, which are used to charge the staff's energy meter. The staff is also able to be upgraded, which increases its performance by adding newer abilities and larger energy capacities. It can also sense and inform the user when there are nearby areas such as "magic caves" to obtain various upgrades on Sauria.

The staff is able to perform several abilities. Its first ability is the Fire Blast, which fires a ball of fire from the tip of the staff at targets. This also proved to be useful when activating switches. Its second ability is the Staff Booster, wherein the user would insert the tip of the staff into a specific area, it would charge energy, and then launch the user to an unreachable area.

The third ability it possesses is the Freeze Blast ability, where it will shoot a continuous stream of a freezing substance from its tip, freezing targets after a period of time. The fourth ability it posesses is the Ground Quake, in which the staff is impaled into the ground by its user and it discharges a wave of energy into the ground, affecting targets within a given radius. (This ability was upgraded during the Saurian Incident, giving the shockwave more power and range.)

The final ability it posesses is the SharpClaw Disguise, in which it will disguise the user as a SharpClaw Tribe member, giving the user access to certain SharpClaw-controlled areas without detection.
