ROB/NUS 64 (more commonly known as just ROB) is the robotic aid of Team Star Fox. He is mainly stationed aboard the team's mothership, Great Fox, and its successor, Great Fox II. He also is able to directly give the team aid through resupplies if they respond to his calls to them.

Biography

Lylat Wars

During the Lylat Wars, ROB was stationed entirely aboard the Great Fox, usually out of the combat zone. However, he played a dynamic role in the team's missions. If something like hull integrity or Smart Bomb count was ever low, he would contact Fox or the member in trouble, confirm their location, and send supplies just a short distance away from them. This greatly helped out the team in a dire situation.

However, in Sector Z, Great Fox and, by extention, ROB came under attack by Andross' forces, including Invader-class fighters and missiles. However, both he and the Great Fox were alright, as Team Star Fox went and destroyed the attacking force.

Saurian Incident

ROB was in heavy disrepair alongside much of Team Star Fox's equipment at the time of the Saurian Incident. He mainly did not participate in the land campaign and provided no real help at all since he was unable to.

Aparoid Invasion

ROB was repaired at the time of the Aparoid Invasion. He again was stationed on Great Fox, along with Peppy Hare this time, aiding the team as they progressed through their missions. This time, however, he helped more with tracking main enemies and scanning data. He also identified vessels a few times.

During the Assault on the Aparoid Homeworld, Great Fox came under heavy attack and was undergoing Aparoidation. Peppy, in a daring move, rammed Great Fox into the shield covering the tunnel into the planet. ROB was with him, and was supposedly destroyed. It was later shown he and Peppy jettisoned Great Fox in the bridge escape pod and were alright.

Anglar Directorate

ROB once again returned to active duty on Great Fox II. He again helped the team by doing much what he did in the Aparoid Invasion, usually scanning for enemies and tracking people.

(It is unknown where he or anyone else ended up at the end of Star Fox Command for a lack of a canon ending.)
