Team Star Wolf is the rival squadron of Team Star Fox. On many occasions, they have come to battle each other because of the people who hired them or because of different understandings. Originally, the team consisted of Wolf O'Donnell, Leon Powalski, Pigma Dengar, and Andrew Oikonny, but Pigma and Andrew were replaced later on by Panther Caroso after they were kicked out.

History

Lylat Wars

During the Lylat Wars, while Team Star Fox was hired by the Cornerian Army to stop Andross, Team Star Wolf was hired by Andross to stop Star Fox. They met on Fichina, Bolse, and finally on the Venomian tunnels before the final battle with Andross. On Fichina and Bolse, they battled in the standard Wolfen against their rival team, but ultimately lost. On Venom, they battled Star Fox in a new ship called the Wolfen II, which almost outperformed the Arwings. Again, they were defeated, and Andross was defeated shortly afterward.

At that time, the team was composed of Wolf, Leon, Pigma, and Andrew. Wolf went after Fox usually, Leon went after Falco, Pigma went after Peppy, being that they were once teammates on the older Star Fox before Pigma defected, and Andrew usually went after Slippy.

Aparoid Invasion

At the time of the Aparoid Invasion, Pigma and Andrew were both out of Star Wolf. They had been replaced by the rookie pilot Panther Caroso.

While tracking Pigma, Star Fox ended up at Star Wolf's hideout in the Sargasso Space Region. After taking control of the massive space station, Star Wolf showed up and got into a dogfight with Star Fox. Fox left Slippy to take control of the hideout while he went to aid in the battle. After a quick fight, Star Wolf was again defeated and left. However, Panther, in an attempt to flirt with Krystal, told Star Fox where Pigma headed off to, and they proceeded to go to Fichina to stop him.

During this battle, Wolf again went after Fox mainly, Leon went after Falco, and Panther went after Krystal, but really never fought her for he is smitten by her.

At the Invasion of Corneria City, Star Wolf showed up again, this time to help Star Fox in defeating a common enemy. Wolf saved Fox from falling to his death off the roof of the Persimmions Building. From thereonin, they helped Star Fox in repelling the invasion and freeing General Pepper from the Aparoid controlling him and his flagship. They also helped stop the Aparoid Missiles from impacting and destroying the Beltino Orbital Gate in preperation for the Invasion of the Aparoid Homeworld.

At the Invasion of the Aparoid Homeworld, although they weren't present during the initial attack, they came in during the attack into the heart of the Aparoid Planet. They fought the Aparoids attacking Star Fox in a conjoined effort to get to the Aparoid Queen. Before they all could make it to the Queen, Star Wolf broke off, trying to lure the majority of the Aparoids away so Star Fox would be able to attack the Queen easily. Their fate beyond that point was unknown.

Invasion of the Anglars

Star Wolf was again encountered in Fichina City. They thought Star Fox was after the bounty that was placed on their heads by the Cornerian government. Star Fox fought them again, and they again lost.
